Recommence of Visa services at Indian Visa Centre, IVS Lanka, Kandy

Re-opening of Indian Visa Centre in Kandy

Assistant High Commission of India in Kandy wishes to inform the travelling public from Sri Lanka to India that the Indian Visa Centre, IVS Lanka, located at No. 675, William Gopala Mawatha, Kandy, which remained closed from March 13, 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, has now resumed operations on March 4, 2021.

Applications for all types of Indian Visas, other than Tourist Visa, can be submitted at the Visa Centre along with the prescribed fees on all Thursdays between 0900 hrs and 1300 hrs . The Sri Lankan Passport with the Indian Visa can be collected in person at the IVS Centre on the same day evening or through Post / Courier.

For all emergency requirements of Visas, the applicants can submit their Visa applications directly at the Office of the Assistant High Commission of India in Kandy on all working days except on Thursdays between 0930 hrs and 1230 hrs.
